the term “pixel” is still the most known one. Not that you are wrong, though. 3d pixels aren’t named “pixels”.
“Voxel” is short for “volumetric pixel” and “pixel” is short for “picture element”.
I didn’t know that except for quite a few seconds ago, though. So, thanks for the information.
