Nice work…Were you hiding behind the bushes to get these shots …Ha…Ha…Or I take it you knew somebody, or had some kind of press pass.

@guitarrocker147
F-15 uses Pratt & Whitney F100-PW100
B-1B uses General Electric F101-GE-102
December 31st, 2011 at 4:42 pm
is it just me or does the engines on the b-1 look pretty much the same as the f-15 engines
December 31st, 2011 at 5:26 pm

December 31st, 2011 at 6:03 pm
so sexy!

@056716 only thing about the BUFF it’s no stealth at all.
December 31st, 2011 at 7:31 pm
@japanowner :That “7 bazillion dollars and development” is what gives you the right to say the the very thing you’ve just said.
December 31st, 2011 at 8:26 pm
@ThatAdelaideGuy actually no, If they would have built another 200 of them, they could have retired the B-52. Even the buff is a good aircraft, but could have saved a lot of money on maintenance costs.
December 31st, 2011 at 9:10 pm
@056716 Thats a bit biased don’t you think? There is no need for 300 heavy bombers.. You could get the job done with 20 bombers and 280 strike fighters
December 31st, 2011 at 10:05 pm
I worked on all 100 of them, They should have built at least another 200 of them
December 31st, 2011 at 10:41 pm
@japanowner The last B-1B rolled off the assembly line in may of 88 and you talk as if they’re brand new. I guess that means they did a good job in building a timeless aircraft.
