Karen (the cross eyed stewardess) actually caused that poor guy to perish as he tried to enter to help them -she kept pushing him out as he tried to get in then caught his hook on that airplane scrap metal , she is guilty !!!

This is my favorite airplane disaster movie! Karen Black was awesome as the flight attendant who was forced into flying the plane.
